Cash Only Appears After You Sell
Landing a fish does not pay you. The catch sits in inventory until you sell it to a dock vendor (press E on PC, tap Interact on mobile). A full bag is wasted progression — you cannot hook the next heavyweight, and hub commons rot while you walk. Sell every load before you recast on the starter island.
Vendor NPCs sit on each island hub, usually near the rod shop. If you cannot find one, you are looking at a fishing pier, not the sell stall. Walk the shoreline until the Interact prompt appears. This is the same loop as the cash farming guide.
Inventory Caps and x2 Slots
Base inventory fills fast once Steel Rod starts landing island-edge heavies. The x2 Inventory Slots game pass doubles how many fish you carry between vendor trips. It does not raise sell price. It only delays the walk.
Sell Anywhere removes the walk. You cash out from the HUD without running back. That is the highest-impact Robux spend in the game if you spend at all — see the game passes page. F2P players should sell often instead of buying the pass on day one. Follow the F2P spend order.
What Not to Hoard
- Do not keep hub commons “for later.” They are seed money for Iron and Steel, not collectibles.
- The Fish Index / fish guide tracks families you have landed. Selling does not wipe the Index entry.
- Boss carcasses still need a vendor unless you own Sell Anywhere. Standing in the boss ring with a full bag is how people lose the next spawn.
Pair sells with the progression calculator so you know whether the next rod is 10 minutes or two sessions away.
Watch a Redeem, Then Go Sell
Codes dump Tickets and Crystals, not a sell button. After you paste the August list, walk to the vendor before you spend anything. The codes video below is a checklist — then empty the bag so Cash can fund Iron → Steel → Emerald.
