The Four Resource Types
Heavyweight Fishing uses three primary currencies plus a July 2026 progression resource. Cash is earned by selling fish and buys rods and many skills. Tickets come from codes, events, and milestones — they unlock spins, shop exclusives, and high-value skill purchases. Crystals complement Tickets for advanced shop items. Trait Rerolls — new in July 2026 — let you reroll passive bonuses on rods and skills.

How to Earn Cash, Tickets, Crystals, and Trait Rerolls
Cash: Sell every fish unless saving for a quest. Higher-tier islands yield bigger payouts — progress through the mid-game walkthrough to unlock better spots.
Tickets: Redeem milestone codes on our active codes list. The 20MVisits and 19M series grant 15 Tickets each at Level 50.
Crystals: Codes are the primary free source — 39KLikes grants 15 Crystals, visit milestones grant 25 each. Spend on skills that cannot be bought with Cash alone.
Trait Rerolls: Redeem 13KActives at Level 200 for 1,000 rerolls, plus smaller stacks from visit and like packs. Read the trait reroll guide and the 13KActives page before spending.

Smart Spending Priorities
Early game: spend Cash on Iron then Steel Rod, buy cheap C-tier skills, redeem any eligible codes via the code checker. Mid game: save for Emerald Rod, invest in B-tier reel skills, redeem Level 20 likes and Level 50 visit codes. Late game: grind Leviathan Rod savings, buy Phoenix Strike Art, optimize traits on endgame gear, then chase Taiji Gems at Level 500.
