The Three Currencies
Heavyweight Fishing uses three primary currencies that fuel different progression paths. Cash is the workhorse earned by selling fish — it buys rods and many skills. Tickets are premium currency from codes, events, and milestones — they unlock spins, shop exclusives, and high-value skill purchases. Crystals complement Tickets for advanced shop items and skill upgrades.
Understanding when to spend each currency separates efficient players from those who stall mid-game. Cash should flow toward rod upgrades first, then essential B-tier skills. Tickets and Crystals from codes like 33KLikes and SageUPD should be hoarded until you know your endgame build rather than spent on random spins.
Farm all three efficiently using our tickets and crystals farming guide.
How to Earn Cash, Tickets, and Crystals
Cash: Sell every fish you catch unless saving for a specific quest. Higher-tier islands yield bigger payouts — progress through the mid-game walkthrough to unlock better fishing spots. Boss catches sell for premium Cash but require strong rods and reel skills.
Tickets: Redeem milestone codes on our active codes list. Events and daily login rewards occasionally grant bonus Tickets. The SageUPD code at Level 100 provides a massive 50 Ticket injection for late-game shopping.
Crystals: Codes are the primary free source — 33KLikes grants 15 Crystals, SageUPD grants 50. Some shop bundles and event milestones also reward Crystals. Spend them on skills that cannot be bought with Cash alone.
- Sell fish frequently — never let inventory cap waste catches
- Redeem every code you qualify for via the code checker
- Save Tickets until you target specific S-tier skills
- Prioritize rod upgrades over cosmetic spending
Smart Spending Priorities
Early game: spend Cash on Iron then Steel Rod, buy cheap C-tier skills, redeem HWF and BacMinh codes. Mid game: save for Emerald Rod, invest in B-tier reel skills, redeem Level 20 and 50 codes. Late game: grind Leviathan Rod savings, buy Phoenix Strike Art, redeem SageUPD at Level 100.
Track your economy with the progression calculator and avoid impulse spin purchases that drain Tickets without guaranteed value. Currency management is covered step-by-step in the endgame walkthrough.
