No single loadout dominates every scenario — boss hunters prioritize Phoenix Strike Art and One-Strike Heaven Gate, farmers lean on Thousand Enemy Sweep and Reel Sprint, and explorers want Aerial Rod Throw for secret spot access. Your build should match your current progression stage on the early, mid, or endgame walkthrough.
Skill slots unlock progressively as you level. Fill early slots with cheap C-tier options like Skyfall Stomp and Reel Machine, then replace rather than upgrade in place. Stage-by-Stage Loadouts
Early game (Levels 1-25): Skyfall Stomp, Reel Machine, Bac Minh Technique. Focus on learning skill activation timing during reel fights. Reel Machine assists tension bar management while Bac Minh provides meaningful damage without Cash cost.
Mid game (Levels 25-75): Reel Sprint, Dragon-Fish, Skybreaker Technique, Bac Minh Technique or Rolling Chaos. Add Aerial Rod Throw when exploring secret locations. This loadout handles mid-tier bosses and efficient island farming simultaneously.
Endgame (Level 75+): Phoenix Strike Art, One-Strike Heaven Gate, Rolling Chaos, Aerial Rod Throw. Swap Rolling Chaos for Unshaken Stance on particularly difficult secret bosses if reel stability matters more than chaos control.
