What Players Mean by "Power Rod"
The community shorthand "Power Rod" refers to the rod currently leading the tier list and handling the heaviest catches — for August 2026, that is the Leviathan Rod (2M cash). It is the only standard shop rod that reliably lands public sea bosses and most secret bosses without breaking mid-fight. Before Leviathan, the practical "power rod" of each progression phase is the Emerald Rod for mid-game farming, the Ocean Master Rod for serious boss attempts, and the Golden Starwing Rod (redeemed via the HWF code) as a free A-tier power pick.
There is no hidden or secret buyable "power rod" above Leviathan in the current build. The Chinese-named rod tier labels and Vietnamese 90-power frames you see in some YouTube thumbnails refer to a different Roblox title — verify the Place ID before chasing the wrong upgrade.
Build the Rod in the Right Order
Following the rod ladder is non-negotiable — each tier funds the next. Jumping straight to Emerald at 100k cash means starter hub catches cannot cover it. The progression order with approximate cash:
- Starter Rod (free) — first 30 minutes
- Iron Rod (5k cash) — first meaningful upgrade
- Steel Rod (25k cash) — mid-starter island heavyweights
- Emerald Rod (100k cash) — mid-game cash printer
- Golden Starwing Rod (HWF code, free) — A-tier replacement for Ocean Master
- Ocean Master Rod (500k cash) — boss-hunting entry rod
- Leviathan Rod (2M cash) — endgame best-in-slot

Traits and Skills That Turn a Rod into a "Power Rod"
